Hello all,
A careless friend recently managed to break the joystick box on a brand new "classic" (old design, new production) N64 controller of mine. I have a replacement original joystick box, however much to my surprise the otherwise identical-to-classic controller lacks the same connection port for the box as an original (shown here):

And instead only has y1, y2, x1, x2 connections as plain holes in the circuit board rather than the blue snap-in connector. Can any of you help me find out how to connect my original joystick box to the new "classic" connector on the main circuit board, or inform me what I need to do with the ground and VCC wires?
Thanks for helping!
