Ok so this thing uses LCos display tech,
This works just by shining an LED through an LCos then through a lense right?

Would it be possible to increase the percieved brightnes by simply raming more LEDs in?  Or is there a more delicate way of achieving this.

This projector is rated 45-50 Lums, ok for 60 inch in a blacked out room but even with a lamp on it's a struggle.  I notice some of the new slightly bigger LCos projectors emerging out of China are rated at around 100 Lums which is pretty acceptable, at least, from demo footage I've watched appears to be.

So yeah, what is the best way to go about boosting the lum of this projector?  The model is Adapt 305, although it is also available unbranded wholesale on ebay.

It's desirable because it has VGA input and composite, as well as capability to playback mp3 and Xvid etc.

I know these things are designed for light use where a full projector is not an option, but!  this is something I must try ;p
