Title: how to build X68000 scart rgb adaptor
Post by: Andrew on November 14, 2008, 04:31:44 AM
I would like to use my TV for 15khz games because my monitor supports only 31khz. My TV has a SCART RGB input and supports 60hz.

I connected H- and V-Sync lines to pin 20 on the SCART connector. Pin 20 is for Composite Video In. My TV shows the picture, but it flickers a bit (A transparent stripe is running over the screen very slowly).

Does anyone has an idea how to fix this problem? I haven't found any guides on the internet for a Sharp X68k SCART adaptor.

Your TV probably doesn't like the way the sync is being handled. Look here for some more info. (http://members.optusnet.com.au/eviltim/scart.htm)

Thank you very much. Is it possible to buy such cables? I don't want to solder the circuit by myself.
