Title: Genesis SYNC--VSYNC, HSYNC, what?
Post by: Talasonic on January 23, 2004, 07:02:58 AM
Here (http://www.gamesx.com/avpinouts/genesisav.htm) is the page that shows the genesis pinout.  What kind of sync is SYNC?

I guess it is probably composite sync.  But what is CSYNC?

Does anyone know a page that shows the waveform of HSYNC, VSYNC, and CSYNC, or explains them somehow?

That would be very helpful.  Thank you.

Hi, me again.

It's C sync. More often than not, if you see something labelled only as sync, then it's probably composite.

Thanks.  So CSYNC is what comes out of the LM1881 chip, instead of HS, right?

I'd still really like a website that explains what these waveforms actually look like.  I'll try to find one on my own.
