Title: I have a pair of X68000s...where to start?
Post by: eris23 on April 18, 2008, 12:31:16 PM
I have a pair of X68000s.  One is the original X68000 and the other a X68000 ACE.  I have one floppy with Gradius and they both boot and run.   Is there somewhere I can find down loadable games and how do I get them onto the floppy drive.

Sorry I if I am asking a pretty basic question.  I have a manual for the ACE, but it is all in Japanese.

thx

    You'll need a Windows 98 machine with a 5.25 floppy drive, some high-density 5.25 floppies, and a copy of xFloppy (http://www.geocities.jp/lieutenantq1998/xfloppy.htm).

The OS is freely available, and many games are either freeware or liberated commercial software. They can be grabbed here (http://retropc.net/x68000/).
