Heavy metal for me. Black Sabbath, Impellitteri, Helloween, etc. Nothing goes with solder fumes and countless wires and traces quite like a loud guitar riff.

I go for old 8-bit music! There's nothin' better than listening to something like the original megaman II music while working on mods.

Oh how I crave for the days when story and gameplay meant something to the game industry!
