I've got several X68 disk images floating around and I need to convert them from .DIM to .XDF format. The .DIM files are smaller than the normal 1.2MB, which is making me think that they're compressed. WinX68K seems to have no trouble handling them, but I'd like them in another format just the same. Any advice?

Virtual Floppy Image Converter http://www.vector.co.jp/soft/win95/util/se151106.html or Omniflop?
I've used some program on the X68 but I don't remember the name, maybe it was an archive called xdftools.lha

I can verify that Virtual Floppy Image works GREAT for this and, despite what the website says, is fully compatible with Windows XP and Windows 7.

When i use it, it just extracts the files which were included in the .dim file. But there seems no option to convert it to .xdf ?

I used it recently. You choose xdf format among those listed and you drag your dim file in the  Virtual Floppy Image Converter window. An xdf file is created next to the dim one.
