Title: Where i can Find a simm to my xsimm6

hi everygbody,

I'm looking where i can buy only the 72 simm module

If any body have one of 6m or 8m i'm very interesting.

I find this in ebay but i don't know that if is correct

And another think how i can know the Megas have a memory ( xsimm6 module)  in my sharp x68000

Hi Silius,

You can choose any simm that is :
- 5v
- 72 pins simm
- FPM or EDO dram
- Up to 70ns for access time
- xsimm6 handle 4 MB or 8MB simm.

So basically, most of the 72 pins simm you will find on ebay. The one in your link is correct.

Sorry, I don't get your question. You mean the maximum amount of memory an x68000 can have ? That's a total of 12MB. You can have more, but the excess will never be used.
I guess if you use an xsimm6, you have an XVI model. Stock XVI have 2MB. So if you don't have any other memory modules, just configure the dipwitchs to 2MB.
