I'm looking for cheap keyboard/mouse extension cables, like the Macintosh serial extension cables (mini-din 8 pin) can be used for PC Engine controller.

Any advice ?

 Hi Parodius !

It is possible to use a regular, slightly modified, PS2 extension cable for the mouse and slightly modified Apple Serial MF extension cable for the keyboard. As you can see in the attached picture, the X68000 mouse port and PS2 port only differ with one less pin on the X68000 side and different plastic tab mounting points. You will need to break off the plastic tab from the extension cable, expand the hole on the other end so the custom plastic tab will fit and it should work. Get one here:

The Apple serial cable has one extra pin in the middle which will need to be removed and the hole for the plastic tab on the other end will need to be expanded as in the previous example.

X68000 personal computer is called, "X68K" or "no good good" is called, is the PC that are loved by many people today.

Pretty much what I had in mind (at least for the keyboard).
Thanks for confirming eidis !
