Title: Music Creation Software for X68K
Post by: Pinwizkid on March 31, 2017, 05:20:53 AM
Is there a definitive list (or archive) of all the known music creation software available for the X68K? I've been meaning to dive into the MML tutorial on the X68000 wiki but figured I'd ask and see if there are some interesting X68K apps to try as well. Thanks!

You mean like trackers and sequencers? I don't think that was much of a thing. I think there is a Z-Music sequencer but I can't remember the name. Pro-68k something or other.

For compiling MXDRV MML I would recommend NOTE.X over the original compiler noted on the wiki. NOTE is the tool most commonly used.

There are, of course, different music drivers you can try. Z-Music, MXDRV and MCDRV are the big ones. There is also OPMDRV which is a bit limited.
