I'm attempting to get a Mode 7 (Similar to F-Zero) rendering engine working on the X68000.
I've uploaded an early version:

This is not fast enough for a game, but futher optimizations may help. Another option would be a fighting game similar to Ballz.
Currently I'm rendering every other pixel, and every other line.
I love mode7-style effects. It's encouraging to see this sort of experimentation on the X68000. =)

It's a pretty amazing 'little' system. Now if I only had the 68030 version. :)
I for one would play anything the multi-talented Mr.Doty produces!
Something's wrong with your X68000 disk image. It has no game executable.
Also, is the source available on that one too?
One can never be to hopeful. :P

Yep, I put the wrong image in the archive. It's fixed now.
If you're interested in seeing the source code, send me your e-mail address in a PM, and I can send it to you.
If using a 20 Mhz configuration in the Xm6 emulator the performance takes a huge step forward. It shouldn't be impossible to make it run quite a bit faster on a normal X68000 config. Looking toward to updates for this one.
I was just kidding about the source code. I'm a terrible programmer. I can't even figure out what's wrong with my BasiEgaXorz programs.
