Title: superfamicom repair help
Post by: inspecteurZ on August 28, 2005, 02:29:24 AM
Hello. I have a jap snes. It worked fine at start, but now its output signal is too bright. I use RGB cable. Someone told me it's my fault for use a pal snes adapter. I was told to use genesis instead. Aside the adapter problem, there are any fix for the output problem?

Thanks .

:)

The RGB cables for NTSC and PAL snes consoles are differnet. Have a look at this page (http://members.optusnet.com.au/eviltim/gamescart/gamescart.htm#snes). If contrast is too high (and is saturating) then try putting a resistor (of, say, 47 ohms) in series with each colour signal to attenuate it.
