Changes are a comin'!

Simple Machines, the software this forum runs on, has recently released their new beta, and it looks like it'll be excellent.  It brings functionality common to the rest of the web to the forum, and I'm actually weirdly excited to get it going here.  Some highlights include:

- responsive design, so it'll work on tablets and phones.
- drafts for posts and messaging, including auto-save, so you'll never lose a long post again.
- likes, so you can, like, like stuff like Facebook likes stuff.  This is a great way to acknowledge a post without cluttering up the thread with "nice!" replies.
- mentions, twitter-style. 
- some new moderation features so Kendrick can be even more awesome.
- it's faster!
