Neo-geo mvs 6 slot monitor problem

Until last week, my game cabinet was working fine. Now the screen has gone black, when starting i hear no sound from the speakers. Lights on coin gate and upper bezel work fine.
When i opened the cabinet (rear side behind the monitor) i hear a clicking sound coming from the right side of the electronicsboard. At the same time i see a label which is stuck to the glass back side of the monitor moving at the same rate as the clicking noise (just like it is catching wind).
The pcb is still starting up, if i use the joystick i can tell i am playing the game that is in the pcb because i've got audio.

I could use some tips on what to check, how to check it and what to be aware of (i've read about discharging the monitor first, would not hurt if someone explained it again to me.
I will get a movie so you hear the sound and see the movement.
I've got a manual via Mikesarcade. I think it is a Hantarex mtc9110
