I have been wanting to do this mod for some time now, but I never got around to tracing the pinouts for the internal 80 pin connector.  Lawrence, any chance you recorded the pinouts when you disassembled it?

Nope, never traced 'em out.  Seemed like a lot of work for no real benefit.  A source for that connector would be a huge step.  =)
