The DVD-ROM drive in my Xbox has failed and needs replacing. I could have sworn there was a handy page all about this topic but all I could find with a search engine was forum posts, "tutorials", and other garbage. After a long search I found the spot where the page is supposed to be:
http://www.xbox-linux.org/docs/pcdvd.html. It wasn't there a couple of days ago and it's still not there now. I've taken the copy from Archive.org and placed it into the Wiki (in Console Mods) where it can be enjoyed by everyone.
