Thermaltake Green Cold Cathode Light Kit , want to extend wires

hi scene , i have one of these and want to extend the wires from the Light to the Controller they dont meet my demands theyre too short.  What type/gauge wire do i need to do the job ? im looking to extend the wires to about 2metres
