no rgb support for the powerpak

my dreams have been shattered, well good thing i have an unmodded nes

here is a funny picture of space harrier.
the 3 bars in the top left are your guy the others are bushes.
all games have this look.

i am going to send an email to the creator of the powerpak see if he has any ideas.

if i am very lucky a small mod can be made to the cart to display proper RGB...

It'd be nice if a mod could be performed.  The RGB NES is a tricky thing at the best of times.

I have installed a RGB PPU and CopyNES in my US NES, and it works fine with the PowerPak Lite RAM cart. Have not tested the PowerPak flash cart on this NES yet...

Update: Tested a PowerPak cart (the flashcart) on a Sharp Titler with s-video out. Worked fine. Used a 60 to 72 pin adapter.

CFN,

the real test would be the full PowerPak flashcart thru RGB. That's the whole point of this thread :)  I would be interested in this because I have a PowerPak flashcart and an AV Famicom

The PowerPak flash cart did not work in my CopyNES modified US NES which has a RP2C03B RGB PPU :-(
The PowerPak Lite RAM cart works, and is nice for a devkit setup.

The PowerPak flash cart does also work in my Sharp Famicom Titler. As you know, it comes with a RC2C05-99 RGB PPU. This is my gaming setup, and I havn't RGB modified the Titler yet, but this is probably the easiest way to use the PowerPak in RGB right now.

My PowerPak flash cart is resistor fixed and got boot ROM 1.10.

No? You might find these items interesting if you like FC/NES stuff....

Yes, that it correct. But remember that you need to have a CopyNES, or similar device, installed to use PowerPak Lite cart - you need a way to upload code into the NES...

No. At least for me it didn't help -  I have this cap installed (68pF)

Moosmann is the RGB PPU guru. If you havn't already, I recommend that you check out his site. Maybe you won't get your question answered, but there sure is some great info there:

Somebody tries it with a RC2C03B or RP2C03C PPU ?

BTW: I want to buy an Dvdo Iscan VP20 or preferred VP30.

I tested NES/FC Consoles on a VP50 and VP50pro with a friend this and last week, but I got many problems with them. Has anyone ever checked with VP20/30 with a NES/FC ?
