Title: Question about image in compact XVI
Post by: popolon_hinotori on July 20, 2017, 06:33:40 AM

Hello
Last week I could fix it my compact XVI, I changed some capacitors trying to fix low sound, sound isn`t yet fix it, but al least sound a little bit better than before.

But, Now I have another problem, when I re-emsambled Compact and power on, the image are green in a normal monitor. This problem its cause or capacitors? or bad emsamblind of the computer?

thanks!

Usually capacitors are used for video signals as well. If the one responsible for red and blue are not working right you'll get only green colour.

I'd also recommend you try a different video cable to make sure that isn't the issue.
