Title: Joystick woes
Post by: Jollyroger on March 15, 2017, 12:20:31 PM
I recently acquired a Genesis arcade power stick http://segaretro.org/Arcade_Power_Stick (http://segaretro.org/Arcade_Power_Stick) (3 buttons + start) to use with my new X68000, but after building the adapter mentioned here: http://gamesx.com/wiki/lib/exe/detail.php?id=controls%3Ax686button&media=controls:newmd_pad_converter_1.jpg (http://gamesx.com/wiki/lib/exe/detail.php?id=controls%3Ax686button&media=controls:newmd_pad_converter_1.jpg)

It doesn't seem to work. All directions are fine, but the buttons don't work at all...

Any thoughts?

Yes, I know it, if I only had the time!

I updated the Wiki, adding this new diagram.
But my change does not show up on the page, I can only see it when I do Edit/Preview  :-[
Did I do it wrong, or is it because someone must review & approve the changes ?

I think it's a caching issue.  I can see when I edit the page that your changes have been saved, but they're not appearing on the page itself.

I'm looking into it.  Sorry for the hassle, thanks for doing the edit!

And fixed.  I don't know what the problem was but there was -no way- the wiki was letting go of that cached page.  I nuked the cache and it seems to be performing as it should now.
