Title: can i play mvs games on a neo-print pcb?
Post by: phreak97 on August 21, 2008, 11:25:37 PM
my housemate has a half gutted neo-print cab in our backyard, and he said i could probably get the game board off him if i wanted it (i already got the monitor), and looking more closely, neo print is an mvs cart.. the board isnt standard mvs though, it has a bunch of printer connections and stuff.. i was wondering though, will it play other mvs games anyway? turning the board into a home console would be easy, and i'd like to do it if it's going to be worth while, but i dont want to buy any mvs games unless it's going to work.

i just posted this here cos we dont really have an arcade section..

thanks

I did a bit of trawling thrugh the forums over at www.neo-geo.com (http://www.neo-geo.com).  The general consensus is that the NeoPrint is generally uncompatible with mvs games but I did see a post saying that a older game worked, but a newer game didn't.

i think i might leave it then:( sounds like too much bother, since mvs boards are so common.
